It all began with the lemons…
If you’re local, you may remember when the first basket of lemons appeared, sitting on a chair with a sign inviting you to take some. Now, the chair is gone (someone pinched it, would you believe?!), but the lemons are back, but we’ve also expanded our crop.
The way gardening goes is that you often end up with more than one household can use. We’ve all seen the cost of things at the supermarket, so if by sharing our fruit, veggies, and seedlings with you, we’re hoping to save you a bit of money, and give you access to nice, fresh ingredients.
We know a few lemons and limes isn’t going to ease anyone’s the grocery burden, and also it’s not so easy to plan when you don’t know what’s coming. So here, we’re listing our crops with additional advice and uses, but we’ll also use this page to let you know what’s coming soon.
Once we get better organised online (and in the garden), we hope to show you what we’re planting and how things are progressing as well.
