Flowers are pretty and they help bring in the bees that fertilise the food that we’re growing, help with soil quality, smell good and lots more, so we’ve planted them everywhere.

The good news about growing flowers is that by trimming the blooms we’re encouraging new ones, so guess what, we’re sharing!

Some of the flowers we use are annuals that you can collect the seeds from and plant yourself, but please be aware, we also use flowering weeds in our poseys (because they’re beautiful as flowers, some can be eaten, and we’re reducing waste that way).

We’re working on a list of what might be in the poseys so you know what to collect the seeds from, which flowers and stems are edible, and how to dispose of your blooms once they’re finished. But right now, we’re busy getting the garden ready to survive the hot Tulmur summer!

Right now, the best ways to dispose of your poseys once they are finished is by placing in your green bin, or bringing down and leaving just inside our fence for us to compost.
